In 2022, after experiencing a breakup and losing my job, I felt desperate and hopeless. It was during this challenging time that crystals unexpectedly entered my life. While driving home, I noticed a nearby crystal exhibition. Initially, I drove past it, but something urged me to return. I parked and entered the building, where stunning stones were displayed. At the time, I only recognized a few common stones, like amethyst. I approached a vendor and asked for a stone to bring me luck. I was given green aventurine and was instructed to hold it under running water while making a wish. I wished for my life to improve, starting with finding a job. Withing a month of making the wish, I found a new job abroad. When looking for the aventurine to express my gratitude I found it cracked. I did some research on whether the stone was not compatible with water, turned out the crack meant the the aventurine had fulfilled its purpose...

What led to the creation of my first tarot deck

In summer 2024, after more than a year of learning tarot, I felt overwhelmed. So many interpretations, so many different tarot readers, so many books, so many cards! Something within me told me that I had to re-shape this knowledge and make it personal, unique. I thought, if I create something new, it'll be according to my own vision. I can be the source, the book, the rule, the direction. Designer and illustrator Katelyn McKenna reached out to me when she found out I was looking for professional help with the creation of my first ever tarot deck. The universe must have brought her to me because she mentioned wanting to work on a similar project, as well and that her mother also new a bit about tarot.
